TORNWOOD STUDIOS is a Solo Project…
It is the culmination of one man’s work over the last decade. To write, produce, perform, and record the imaginative arrangements that come to mind. It is now time to expose these songs for the listening enjoyment of anyone who desires to be entertained by the non-contemporary style, and adept lyrics of L.D.J., better known as “TORN”.
Tornwood, this projects name, is actually the name of L.D.J.’s three acre ranch in Mt. Hollywood, North Carolina. The name was so unique that it was almost used for a band name, back in 1999, when L.J. was playing Lead and Rhythm Guitar for a local band. The style of music that Tornwood Studios produces has evolved to encompass several listening audiences. Initially deep into the “Hard Rock” format, appreciation was gained in the pure clarity of the acoustic guitar, and symphonic accompaniments that can add a dimension to easy listening music that anyone can enjoy.
The intent of the Tornwood Studios web site is Three-Fold…
1) To expose the copyrighted material to the masses for their critique, and potential enjoyment, in hopes that they would return occasionally to see and hear new material.
2) To expose this material to those who may be “in the market” for fresh material to utilize for their own recording contracts, or motion picture sound track usage, (Upon agreed copyright licensing basis, of course).
3) To give the potential visitors to this web site the opportunity, (if they wish), not to only critique the materials, but to have a sounding board to offer suggestions on such things as future song titles, song lyric subjects, and special requests such as tailored songs written for them, or their interests.
While surfing this sight you will see the opportunity to make contact/suggestions, and those who chose to interact will be rewarded with quarterly downloads, and free materials, to enhance their experience at Tornwood.com... and be sure to get your FREE music downloads B-4-U- GO by clicking the "Free Tunes" button. There will be songs added to this section periodically, so check back by.
Thanx,
L.D.J. ( Torn )
